Our Approach to Website Accessibility
Effective date: October 8, 2026
Kingdom Remodelers wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. Planning a remodel starts with good information, and that information should be easy to reach.
We built this site toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are our working target. We have not completed a formal audit, and we do not claim that every page meets every guideline.
Accessibility Features Built Into This Website
The site was designed and built with these practices:
- Semantic HTML, with headings, landmarks, lists, and tables marked up so assistive technology can interpret the page structure
- Keyboard navigation, so menus, links, and the inquiry form can be reached and used without a mouse
- Visible focus indicators, so keyboard users can see where they are on the page
- Support for the reduced-motion setting in your operating system, which tones down animation
- Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images, with purely decorative images hidden from screen readers
- Color contrast checks on text and interface elements
Known Limitations
We'd prefer you hear about the site's shortcomings from us. These are the limitations we are aware of today.
Decorative Imagery and Video
Some concept imagery and video on this site are decorative. They set a visual mood and do not carry information you need in order to understand our services or contact us. Decorative images do not have detailed descriptions, and decorative video does not have captions or audio description. If a specific image or video seems to hold information you can't access, tell us and we will provide it in another format.
Scroll Animations
Parts of the site use cinematic animations that respond to scrolling. Motion like this can be distracting or uncomfortable for some people, including people with vestibular disorders. You can reduce these animations by turning on the reduced-motion setting in your operating system:
- On macOS, open System Settings, then Accessibility, then Display, and turn on Reduce motion.
- On Windows, open Settings, then Accessibility, then Visual effects, and turn off Animation effects.
- On iPhone and iPad, open Settings, then Accessibility, then Motion, and turn on Reduce Motion.
- On Android, open Settings, then Accessibility, and turn on Remove animations. The exact menu names vary by device.
When this setting is on, the site uses simpler transitions in place of the cinematic effects.
Browser and Assistive Technology Support
The site is designed to work in current versions of major web browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. It uses standard markup intended to work with common screen readers. Older browsers and older assistive technology may not display every feature as intended. Keeping your browser and assistive technology up to date gives you the best experience.
How to Report an Accessibility Barrier
If you have trouble using any part of this website, we want to know. You can report a barrier in either of these ways:
- Use the inquiry form on our contact page
- Email us at [Contact email]
If the contact form itself is the problem, please use email. It helps to include the page address, a short description of what went wrong, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. You don't need technical language. A plain description is enough for us to start.
We will review every report, work on a fix where we can, and provide the information you were looking for in another format in the meantime.
Our Ongoing Accessibility Work
Accessibility is not a one-time task. As we add pages, images, and features, we review them against the same WCAG 2.2 Level AA target, and we will update this statement when our approach or known limitations change. You can learn how we handle information sent through the contact form in our Privacy Policy.
